During November 2017 we carried out a patient survey to gather patients views on our service.
The reason we carried out the survey was to help us benchmark the new way of working that we started to introduce in April this year. This pilot was to improve our same day access for urgent appointments.
Patients were contacted at random via the phone and asked if they would be able to take part in a quick survey.
Those who were happy to participate were asked the same questions as the NHS national patient survey so that we could carry out a direct comparison to previous survey results.
The questions were based on the patients last consultation at the surgery.
The questions were yes / no answers, but we have also captured any comments that were made, and we will be using this feedback to review our services to see if we can make any improvements moving forward.
